Spotlight On- Habitat for Humanity, International
June 27, 2012
When I was growing up, one message was always clear: no matter where we come from or what we start out with, we all have the ability—and the responsibility—to give back. That’s why I’ve loved working with Habitat for Humanity. There’s something so amazing—and so fulfilling—about collaborating to achieve a common, tangible goal.
Since 1976, dedicated Habitat for Humanity volunteers, donors, and potential homeowners have worked to ensure that more people—regardless of their financial status or life circumstances—have access to quality housing. It’s a pretty ambitious objective—and it’s one that I’m so proud to support.
To read more about Habitat for Humanity, or to volunteer for a building project near you, visit their website at www.habitat.org.
Have you ever volunteered with Habitat for Humanity (or a similar organization)? Tell us about your experience!

I have had the privilege of working on several crews for Habitat and each time it has been doing something different but it has always been fun and rewarding. This picture is of the best cleaning crew!
