Happy Father’s Day

Although the focus of many of my blog posts (and much of my web content) is on the work that women around the world are doing to transform their lives and communities, it would be a shame to minimize the role that fathers (and father-figures) play in the growth and development of individuals and families. Last week, I watched my daughter and son-in-law welcome a new baby, and I was reminded—again—of the immediately powerful connection that exists between fathers and their children. Happy Father’s Day to you, and to all of the amazing men in our lives.
